1. Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost? Shipping is FREE for all orders within the United Kingdom. There are no hidden fees at checkout.

Where do you ship? We currently ship exclusively within the United Kingdom. We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.

How long will it take to receive my order?

  • Handling Time: 1-2 Business Days (Mon-Fri)

  • Transit Time: 3-4 Business Days (Mon-Fri)

  • Total Estimated Delivery: 4-6 Business Days.

How can I track my order? Once your handmade item ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website (Royal Mail, FedEx, UPS, or DHL).

 


 

2. Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy? We offer a 60-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging.

Are there any return fees? No. Return shipping is FREE when using our prepaid label, and we charge $0 restocking fees.

Can I return my item in person? Yes! You can return items by mail or by visiting our office at 32 Bredle Way, Aveley, RM15 4ES. Please bring your proof of purchase.

My item arrived damaged. What should I do? Because wood is a natural material, we take great care in packaging. If your item arrives damaged, please contact help@jdktrades.shop within 7 days with a photo of the damage for a free replacement or refund.

 


 

3. Products & Craftsmanship

Are your products really handmade? Yes. Every item at jdktrades is handcrafted. This means each piece has unique grain patterns and slight natural variations, making your purchase one-of-a-kind.

Why does my product look slightly different from the photo? Since we use natural wood, variations in color, knots, and grain textures are normal and celebrated as part of the artisan process.

 


 

4. Payments & Security

What payment methods do you accept? We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and PayPal.

Is my payment secure? Absolutely. Our checkout uses 256-bit SSL encryption (look for the padlock in your browser) and we are fully PCI DSS compliant. We never store your credit card or banking details.

When will I be charged? Payments are processed immediately upon order confirmation to ensure your handmade item enters the fulfillment process without delay.
